Metal prints
Why metal prints
I make metal prints of the places I photograph, mostly desert landscape wall art from Arizona and Sedona. If you want Arizona wall art or Sedona wall art that can go large, this is how the prints are made and how I would choose a size.
What is a metal print?
A metal print is a photograph printed on glossy white aluminum. It is light, the finish is glossy, and it arrives ready to hang.
Why do metal prints suit desert, Arizona, and Sedona landscapes?
Desert light in Arizona and Sedona is strong color: red rock, a warm sunset, a wide sky. Glossy aluminum holds that color and gives the photograph depth. The panel is durable, easy to wipe clean, and light enough that a large metal print is practical on a living room or office wall.
How do I pick a size for a wall?
Sizes run from 12x8 up to 36x24. Not every photograph is offered at every size. A few stop earlier so the print stays sharp. Large metal prints, 24x16 and up, are what I would hang when the wall has room. A 12x8 or 12x12 works on a shelf, a desk, or a smaller wall. An easel size includes a metal stand, and those are the small sizes. An inset frame is a hidden frame on the back. It holds the print about 1 inch off the wall and it is ready to hang. The size menu on each photograph shows which of those you can order.
How do I care for a metal print?
Dust the face with a soft dry cloth. A barely damp cloth is enough for a fingerprint. Skip abrasive cleaners, and do not leave the print in standing water. These are indoor prints.
How does shipping work?
Shipping inside the US is a flat $14.95 per print, including Hawaii and Alaska. I print to order, and the print ships within 3-5 business days. If a print arrives damaged, email within 14 days of delivery.
The shipping page has the arrival window and tracking. The returns page has the damage note.
